We’re R3 Direct, a dedicated and experienced team of highly skilled tradesmen accompanied with our brilliant contract managers and planners, priding ourselves on our excellent delivery of repair & construction services. We’re a well trusted team, completing 1000s of jobs all over East Lothian, Midlothian, Edinburgh & out to the Scottish Borders. What Services do we offer?

Sounding good so far? Like we said, we really pride ourselves on the full range of services we offer, here’s what you can expect from us:

Joiners - Our joiners are all trained to SVQ Carpentry and Joinery SCQF level 6 and serve a 3-year apprenticeship and of course all our joiners meet the highest standards of courtesy and professional excellence. 

Plumbers – Our Plumbers are all trained to SVQ Level 3 in Domestic Plumbing and serve a 4-year apprenticeship. Whether you need to repair or replace that dripping tap or cracked sink, we can help you do that. We regularly install brand new bathrooms, low level shower trays and full wet rooms as well.

Electricians - Our Electricians are all trained to SCQF 7 in Electrical Installation and qualified to the latest BS7671 Wiring Regulations. We cover all aspects of electrical work, from replacing or repairing towel rails, showers, fitting smoke & CO2 alarms, to fitting your electric heating, MCBs, RCDs, EV Chargers and ensuring your earth circuits are intact and fully compliant with all legislation.

Roofers - Our Roofers are all trained to SVQ in Roofing Occupations SCQF level 6 and serve a 3-year apprenticeship. We can take care of everything from fixing a loose gutter to completely replacing the roof on your home or even fitting solar pvs, carrying out all our work from heights in a safe and compliant manner. All quotes are completely free. 

Gas Engineers - Our Gas Engineers are all trained to SCQF level 7 in domestic plumbing and heating and serve a 4-year apprenticeship. We can take care of everything from installing a new gas boiler to upgrading your entire central heating system and of course all our quotes are completely free.

Painters & Decorators - Our Painter & Decorators are all trained SVQ Painting and Decorating SCQF level 6 and serve a 3-year apprenticeship. If it’s brightening up that spare room before your guests arrive to stay or a full facelift to the outside of your home with fresh new masonry paint, we are here to help you.

How do our services work?

Whether you require a small repair or you’re in need of a larger job, we’re here and happy to help. Our easy-to-use booking system offers two different ways to book your job with us.

Smaller Jobs

For smaller jobs such as a leaky tap, a blocked toilet, or a broken door handle, we offer a fixed price before we’ve even stepped through the door. All you have to do is let us know what your problem is, and we’ll quote you right there and then. This process takes no time at all, and we can have one our team out to you as soon as possible. Larger Jobs

If you’re looking for a larger job, maybe a new kitchen or bathroom renovations, then no need to worry, our booking system is still a smooth operation. To get your home one step closer to its makeover, you’ll need to make an appointment with one of our team.
